Overview
131I-DualFAPi-5 (also known as 131I-DualFAPi or DualFAPi-5) is a preclinical-stage, FAP-targeted dimeric radiopharmaceutical developed by TetraKit Technologies. It is designed to deliver therapeutic beta-minus radiation from iodine-131 (131I) to fibroblast activation protein (FAP)-expressing tumors, such as metastasized triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The drug utilizes TetraKit's proprietary tetrazine-based click chemistry platform to achieve rapid, high-yield radiolabeling. By employing a dimeric FAP-targeting structure, the compound is engineered to prolong tumor residence time and enhance therapeutic efficacy compared to monomeric alternatives.
