Overview

**13C-urea + citric acid** is a combination diagnostic agent used in a non-invasive breath test for the detection of *Helicobacter pylori* infection. The test utilizes 13C-labeled urea, which is hydrolyzed by *H. pylori* urease in the stomach, releasing 13CO₂ that is measured in the patient's breath.
