15-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (Zhifei Biological)

**15-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine** is an investigational polysaccharide conjugate vaccine developed within the Zhifei vaccine portfolio for active immunization against invasive disease caused by vaccine-covered *Streptococcus pneumoniae* serotypes. The product contains capsular polysaccharide antigens from 15 pneumococcal serotypes conjugated to a carrier protein, enabling T-cell-dependent, serotype-specific antibody responses and immunologic memory. Compared with 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccines, it is intended to provide coverage of two additional pneumococcal serotypes relevant to the Chinese population. Zhifei reported that the candidate had entered drug-registration review and approval in China.
