15-valent recombinant human papillomavirus vaccine

**15-valent recombinant human papillomavirus vaccine** is an investigational prophylactic HPV vaccine developed by Shanghai Bovax Biotechnology and Chongqing Bovax Biopharmaceutical. It consists of recombinant virus-like particles formed from the HPV major capsid protein L1 for HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, and 68, expressed in *Hansenula polymorpha* and adsorbed to an aluminium adjuvant. The noninfectious L1 virus-like particles are intended to induce type-specific neutralizing antibodies that prevent infection with included HPV types and thereby prevent HPV-associated genital warts, precancerous lesions, and cancers.
