Drug intelligence / Profile preview
1500 ppm NaMFP Fluoride Dentifrice is an experimental fluoride-containing toothpaste formulation developed by Procter & Gamble. It contains 1500 ppm of fluoride in the form of sodium monofluorophosphate (NaMFP) as its active ingredient. This topical formulation is designed to promote the remineralization of enamel and dentine subsurface lesions and inhibit demineralization, thereby preventing and treating dental caries (tooth decay). The formulation has been evaluated in double-blind, randomized, crossover in-situ clinical trials to compare its remineralization efficacy against other fluoride and non-fluoride dentifrices.
