15D10

15D10 is a monoclonal antibody that targets and inhibits Factor XII (FXII), a key enzyme in the intrinsic pathway of coagulation. Developed by Aronora, Inc. in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University, the antibody is designed to prevent thrombus formation and associated inflammation without impairing primary hemostasis, thereby minimizing bleeding risks. Preclinical studies in mouse models of sickle cell disease (SCD) have shown that 15D10 significantly reduces venous thrombosis and mitigates brain injury following ischemic stroke by decreasing fibrin deposition, platelet accumulation, and leukocyte adhesion in the microvasculature.
