Overview

1650-G is an allogeneic cellular vaccine developed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The vaccine is composed of allogeneic tumor cells (specifically the AD100 cell line) that have been genetically engineered to express and secrete human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). By secreting GM-CSF at the injection site, the vaccine aims to enhance the recruitment and maturation of antigen-presenting cells, such as dendritic cells, which then process and present tumor-associated antigens to the immune system to elicit a T-cell-mediated anti-tumor response. It has primarily been investigated in the adjuvant setting for patients with Stage I or II NSCLC who have no evidence of disease following surgery or definitive therapy.
