Drug intelligence / Profile preview
177Lu-ACT319 is an investigational radiopharmaceutical (radioligand therapy) being developed by Actithera, Inc. It consists of the beta-emitting radioisotope lutetium-177 (177Lu) conjugated to ACT319, a targeting moiety designed to bind to fibroblast activation protein (FAP). FAP is highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts within the tumor microenvironment of various solid tumors. By targeting FAP, 177Lu-ACT319 delivers localized beta radiation directly to the tumor site, sparing healthy tissues. The drug is administered intravenously and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial for patients with FAP-expressing advanced solid tumors, with a primary focus on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and biliary tract carcinoma.
