177Lu-DOTA-SCH001 is a radiopharmaceutical candidate being developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University for the imaging and potential treatment of multiple myeloma. It consists of the beta-emitting radionuclide Lutetium-177 (177Lu) conjugated via a DOTA chelator to SCH001, a targeting moiety (likely a monoclonal antibody or fragment) that specifically binds to CD38. CD38 is highly and uniformly expressed on the surface of multiple myeloma cells, making it an ideal target for radioligand therapy. The agent is currently being evaluated in exploratory clinical studies to assess its biodistribution, radiation dosimetry, and CD38-targeting imaging characteristics in patients with multiple myeloma.
