Overview

186Re-bivatuzumab is a radiopharmaceutical consisting of the humanized monoclonal antibody bivatuzumab (BIWA 4) labeled with the radioisotope rhenium-186. It targets CD44v6, which is expressed in squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck and other epithelial cancers. The drug delivers targeted radiation therapy to tumor cells expressing CD44v6.
