18F-BMS-986192 is a PET imaging tracer consisting of a programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) adnectin labeled with fluorine-18. It was developed by Bristol Myers Squibb for non-invasive imaging and quantification of PD-L1 expression in tumors. This tracer enables assessment of PD-L1 status which may help predict response to immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies. Pharmacokinetic studies show that a single-tissue reversible compartment model best describes its kinetics in tumors, with SUV measurements at 60 minutes post-injection serving as a good surrogate for quantifying tumor tracer uptake.
