Overview
**18f-florastamin** is an injectable radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent labeled with fluorine-18; it targets the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) for *PET/CT imaging of prostate cancer*. The active molecule, florastamin, binds to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, and the F-18 isotope allows visualization through positron emission tomography. Its main utility is in detecting primary and metastatic prostate lesions, especially small lymph nodes and active osseous metastases that may evade conventional anatomical criteria.
