Drug intelligence / Profile preview
18F-FlutraProst (also known as PSMA-TBD) is a fluorine-18 (18F) labeled radiopharmaceutical developed by TetraKit Technologies. It is designed as a positron emission tomography (PET) diagnostic imaging agent targeting glutamate carboxypeptidase II (also known as prostate-specific membrane antigen, or PSMA), which is highly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells. By utilizing the 18F radionuclide, a positron (beta-plus) emitter, 18F-FlutraProst enables high-resolution PET imaging for the detection, staging, and monitoring of prostate cancer. The agent is currently in Phase 1 (First-In-Human) clinical development.
