18F-FPyQCP

18F-FPyQCP is a Fluorine-18 labeled PET radiopharmaceutical targeting Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP). Originally developed by Coxeter (a University of Oxford spin-out) and subsequently acquired by Blue Earth Diagnostics, the agent is designed to visualize the tumor microenvironment. FAP is highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in the stroma of over 90% of epithelial tumors, making it a versatile target for imaging various solid malignancies. 18F-FPyQCP is intended to provide high-contrast PET images to aid in the detection, staging, and monitoring of multiple tumor types by binding to FAP-expressing fibroblasts within the tumor stroma.
