Drug intelligence / Profile preview
18F-IMA601 is a fluorine-18 labeled radiotracer developed for PET imaging to quantify enzyme occupancy and central nervous system (CNS) target engagement of *O-GlcNAcase* (OGA), an enzyme involved in protein O-GlcNAcylation. The tracer enables noninvasive assessment of CNS OGA inhibition, serving as a pharmacodynamic biomarker in studies of *OGA inhibitors* (such as ASN51). 18F-IMA601 is used in clinical research—specifically in phase 1 studies—to visualize and measure OGA enzyme occupancy in the brain of healthy human volunteers[6][7].
