Drug intelligence / Profile preview
18F-LNC1016 is an 18F-labeled diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed by LNC Pharma for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It specifically targets the αvβ3 integrin (integrin alpha-V beta-3), a cell surface receptor that plays a critical role in tumor angiogenesis, progression, and metastasis. By binding to αvβ3, which is often overexpressed in lung cancer and other solid tumors, 18F-LNC1016 allows for the non-invasive visualization and quantification of integrin expression levels in vivo. This imaging capability is intended to assist in tumor detection, characterization, and the assessment of angiogenic activity to guide clinical management. The agent is currently in the preclinical stage of development for the imaging of lung cancer.
