Drug intelligence / Profile preview
18F-NOTA-CRT is a PET/CT imaging probe designed to target Transferrin Receptor 1 (TfR 1), which is frequently overexpressed in glioblastoma (GBM). The probe consists of the CRTIGPSVC (CRT) peptide, which has a high affinity for GBM tissues, conjugated to the chelator NOTA and labeled with the radioisotope fluorine-18 (18F). It is intended for the precise detection of intracranial tumor burden and to assist in identifying patients with TfR 1 overexpression who might benefit from targeted therapies or fluorescence-guided surgery using related probes like Cy5-CRT.
