18F-OncoACP3 is a small molecule radiopharmaceutical PET imaging agent designed for the detection of metastatic prostate cancer. It targets Acid Phosphatase 3 (ACP3), a novel biomarker that is highly expressed in prostate cancer tissues. The agent consists of the OncoACP3 ligand, originally developed by Philochem and licensed to RayzeBio (a subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb), labeled with the positron-emitting radioisotope Fluorine-18. 18F-OncoACP3 is intended to provide high-contrast imaging of tumor lesions with selective uptake and favorable clearance from healthy tissues. It is part of a broader theranostic platform that includes Gallium-68 for diagnostics and Lutetium-177 or Actinium-225 for radioligand therapy.
