**18F-WL12** is a radiolabeled peptide-based diagnostic agent designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in tumors. The WL12 moiety is a small peptide that binds specifically to PD-L1 on tumor cells. When labeled with the radioisotope fluorine-18 (^18F), the compound enables non-invasive visualization and quantification of PD-L1 expression in vivo using PET imaging. This can help guide immunotherapy decisions and monitor response to immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway.
