Drug intelligence / Profile preview
19#iSCLife-POI is a cell-based biologic therapy developed by Sclnow Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for the treatment of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI). The therapy utilizes human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hucMSCs), which are multipotent stromal cells capable of migrating to damaged ovarian tissue. Once at the site, these cells exert therapeutic effects by reducing oxidative stress, inhibiting apoptosis of granulosa cells, and promoting the regeneration of ovarian follicles. This regenerative approach aims to restore ovarian function and fertility in women under 40 who have experienced early loss of ovarian activity. The product is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy compared to standard hormone replacement therapy.
