1H11 is a preclinical **monoclonal antibody** directed against **cancer-specific plectin**, a mislocalized cell-surface form of plectin found on multiple cancers and highly prevalent in serous ovarian cancer. It was developed in the ZielBio and University of Virginia research setting as a first-in-class anti-CSP therapeutic antibody and was generated by mouse immunization against a recombinant C-terminal human CSP fragment. In ovarian cancer models, 1H11 bound human and murine CSP with high affinity, rapidly internalized after antigen binding, produced selective cytotoxicity in CSP-positive tumor cells, induced G0/G1 arrest, reduced migration, increased ROS, and suppressed JAK2-STAT3 signaling with associated increases in p21 and p27 and modulation of EMT markers. In xenograft models, intravenous 1H11 showed tumor growth inhibition as monotherapy and enhanced cisplatin activity, supporting its positioning as an experimental targeted antineoplastic immunotherapy for ovarian cancer and potentially other CSP-positive solid tumors.
