Drug intelligence / Profile preview
2 Flora is a probiotic and prebiotic (synbiotic) supplement developed and marketed by McW Healthcare. It is formulated as an oral capsule containing a combination of beneficial bacterial strains, specifically *Lactobacillus acidophilus* (1 billion CFU) and *Bifidobacterium bifidum* (1 billion CFU), along with the prebiotic fructooligosaccharides (FOS, 100 mg). 2 Flora is used to support gastrointestinal health, restore and maintain healthy gut microbiota, and manage digestive disorders such as diarrhea (including antibiotic-associated diarrhea), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and indigestion. The probiotic strains help replenish beneficial gut flora, while the prebiotic FOS selectively promotes the growth and colonization of these beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract.
