203Pb-DOTAM-RMX-VH-PKM is a next-generation radiopharmaceutical imaging agent designed for the targeted detection of aggressive glioblastoma. Developed through a collaboration between RadioMedix, Vect-Horus, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, the compound targets the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR), which is significantly overexpressed during glioblastoma progression. The molecule incorporates the radioactive isotope lead-203 (203Pb) for SPECT imaging, the chelator DOTAM, a targeting peptide (RMX-VH), and a PKM motif that extends the plasma half-life to approximately 9.2 hours. Preclinical studies in orthotopic glioblastoma models have demonstrated rapid tumor localization and sustained retention, suggesting its potential as a highly sensitive molecular imaging tool.
