203Pb-RMX-VHPIB is an investigational radiopharmaceutical diagnostic imaging agent developed by Radiomedix. It consists of a single-domain antibody (VHH or nanobody) targeting multiple members of the integrin family, specifically those containing the alpha-v subunit (such as αvβ3, αvβ5, and αvβ6), which are frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors including glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The nanobody is labeled with the radioisotope lead-203 (203Pb), which emits gamma radiation suitable for Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) imaging. This agent is designed to evaluate the biodistribution and radiation dosimetry of the targeting vector in patients, serving as a theranostic companion to the targeted alpha therapy 212Pb-RMX-VHPIB. By identifying tumors with high integrin expression, 203Pb-RMX-VHPIB facilitates patient selection and treatment planning for alpha-particle radioligand therapy.
