Overview

**213Bi-chTNT3** is a targeted radiopharmaceutical composed of the monoclonal antibody chTNT3 conjugated to bismuth-213 (^213Bi), an alpha-emitting radioisotope. The antibody chTNT3 specifically binds to histone-associated nuclear antigens exposed in necrotic regions of tumors. After intravenous administration, the antibody homes to these necrotic areas, delivering highly localized alpha particle radiation to malignant tissue while minimizing collateral damage to healthy cells. The drug is primarily investigated as a targeted therapy for various solid tumors, leveraging the cytotoxicity of alpha particles to eradicate cancer cells. The compound was developed as part of experimental radiotherapeutic strategies, notably in academic and governmental research settings.
