2217LS is a human monoclonal antibody engineered for extended half-life (via M428L and N434S mutations in the Fc domain) and designed to provide pre-exposure prophylaxis against Lyme disease, which is caused by Borrelia burgdorferi transmitted by ticks. The antibody targets *Borrelia burgdorferi* and has demonstrated efficacy in preventing transmission of the pathogen in animal models, including mice and non-human primates.
