2MW7061 is a novel bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) developed by Mabwell. It targets both leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 4 (LILRB4) on tumor cells and CD3 on T cells. The drug is designed to facilitate the formation of an immunological synapse between T cells and LILRB4-expressing cancer cells, thereby activating cytotoxic T cell responses specifically against tumor cells while minimizing nonspecific binding to normal T cells. This unique structural design aims to improve the safety margin without compromising efficacy. In preclinical models of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly monocytic AML, 2MW7061 demonstrated strong anti-tumor activity and a favorable safety profile in non-primate toxicology studies, supporting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for AML patients[2][3][5][7].
