Overview

2S-13 is an experimental synthetic compound belonging to the 2S-series of pyridazine derivatives, specifically described as ethyl (E)-2-(2-(4-carbamoylphenyl)-6-(4-chlorobenzoyl)pyridazine-3(2H)-ylidene)acetate. It has demonstrated strong anticancer effects in preclinical studies, especially in the human triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell line MDA-MB-231. The compound was synthesized as part of a series of novel pyridazine derivatives evaluated for their cytotoxicity and potential as anticancer agents. The exact mechanism of action has not been fully elucidated, but its anticancer effect has been established in vitro[2].
