Overview

2VIP is a combination chemotherapy and targeted therapy regimen being evaluated for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-negative (Ph-negative) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Developed by the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital in China, the regimen consists of inotuzumab ozogamicin (an anti-CD22 antibody-drug conjugate), venetoclax (a BCL-2 inhibitor), vincristine (a microtubule inhibitor), and prednisone (a corticosteroid). This regimen is typically used as part of a multi-phase treatment protocol that includes induction, consolidation, and maintenance, often integrated with other immunotherapies like blinatumomab or CAR-T cell therapy to improve event-free survival and minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity rates.
