3C12-DOX is an experimental **antibody-drug conjugate** comprising the anti-sperm protein 17 monoclonal antibody clone 3C12 covalently linked to doxorubicin. It selectively binds sperm protein 17-positive ovarian cancer cells, undergoes cellular internalization, and delivers the cytotoxic anthracycline payload to induce tumor-cell apoptosis. In published preclinical studies, it showed selective in-vitro cytotoxicity against Sp17-positive SKOV3 ovarian cancer cells and regression of established SKOV3 xenografts in mice.
