Overview

3D1002 is a selective antagonist of the prostaglandin E2 receptor subtype 4 (EP4), also known as E-type prostanoid receptor 4. It is being developed primarily for the management of moderate to severe cancer pain. The drug has received IND approval from the NMPA and is currently in advanced clinical development, including Phase IIa/IIb trials evaluating its safety and efficacy both alone and in combination with oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets (OxyContin).
