Overview

**3DNA-Wnt agonist** is an experimental nanotherapeutic developed by **Genisphere** using its proprietary **3DNA** synthetic DNA nanocarrier platform to deliver a **Wnt pathway agonist peptide** to **microglia** in the injured brain. The construct is designed to maintain or restore **Wnt beta-catenin signaling** in activated microglia, thereby limiting acquisition of a pro-inflammatory phenotype that contributes to white matter and myelin injury. It has been described in preclinical research in collaboration with **Inserm** for prevention or treatment of **neuroinflammation-associated brain injury in preterm infants**, particularly encephalopathy of prematurity and related myelin damage. The product is best characterized as a **nanoparticle nucleic acid scaffold conjugated to a peptide agonist**, rather than a conventional small molecule or marketed pharmaceutical product.
