4-factor prothrombin complex concentrate (4F-PCC) is a blood-derived coagulation factor replacement product containing the vitamin K-dependent factors II, VII, IX, and X, along with the anticoagulant proteins C and S. It is designed to rapidly restore hemostasis in patients with acquired coagulation factor deficiencies. In clinical trials sponsored by Janssen Research & Development, LLC, 4F-PCC was utilized as a reversal agent to evaluate its ability to counteract the anticoagulant effects of JNJ-64179375, a monoclonal antibody targeting thrombin exosite 1.
