4-phenylfentanyl

4-Phenylfentanyl is a synthetic opioid analgesic and a structural derivative of fentanyl. Compared to fentanyl, 4‑Phenylfentanyl is approximately eight times more potent in animal analgesic tests. Like other fentanyl analogs, it acts primarily as an agonist at the mu-opioid receptor, producing strong pain relief but also significant risks such as respiratory depression and overdose. Its side effects are similar to those of other opioids and include itching, nausea, and potentially life-threatening respiratory depression[1][3][4].
