4-valent human papillomavirus recombinant vaccine (hansenula polymorpha)

The 4-valent human papillomavirus recombinant vaccine (Hansenula polymorpha) is an investigational **prophylactic quadrivalent HPV vaccine** developed by Shanghai Bovax Biotechnology. It contains purified virus-like particles formed from recombinant L1 major capsid proteins of HPV types 6, 11, 16, and 18 expressed in *Hansenula polymorpha* and adsorbed to an aluminium adjuvant. Vaccination is intended to induce neutralizing anti-L1 immune responses that prevent infection and HPV-associated cervical and vaginal precancerous lesions, cervical cancer, and genital warts caused by the covered HPV types.
