Drug intelligence / Profile preview
4P FSH is a transdermal formulation of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) being developed by 4P Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Nutriband. It utilizes a proprietary transdermal delivery system (patch) to deliver FSH, a biologic hormone, as an alternative to traditional subcutaneous or intramuscular injections. The drug's mechanism of action involves the activation of the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), which in turn stimulates follicular development in women and spermatogenesis in men. This product is intended for the treatment of infertility and is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
