Drug intelligence / Profile preview
4SCAR7 is an autologous, CD7-targeted, chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy designed for the treatment of T-cell malignancies, primarily high-risk or relapsed/refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). It utilizes patients' own T cells, which are genetically engineered to express a CAR targeting CD7, a surface protein broadly expressed on malignant T cells. Upon infusion, these CAR-T cells recognize, bind to, and eliminate CD7-expressing malignant cells. Preclinical and early clinical studies indicate that 4SCAR7 can be effective and relatively safe for high-risk T-cell malignancies, representing a precision immunotherapy approach for patients with otherwise poor prognosis[1][7][9].
