This combination has been studied primarily in advanced breast cancer and endometrial cancer. The rationale is to combine cytotoxic chemotherapy (CEF/FEC) with hormonal therapy (medroxyprogesterone acetate) to enhance anti-tumor efficacy. Clinical reports indicate use in patients with metastatic or recurrent disease, including those resistant to standard chemotherapy[1][2][3][4].
