Drug intelligence / Profile preview
60.11 is a monoclonal antibody designed to target gC1qR (also known as p32/HABP1), a complement receptor overexpressed in mesothelioma. It specifically binds to the C1q binding domain of gC1qR, located at amino acids 76–93, thereby blocking its function. This action has been shown to reduce mesothelioma tumor growth by inhibiting cell proliferation, increasing cellular apoptosis, and impairing angiogenesis. The drug is being investigated as a potential novel therapeutic strategy for mesothelioma.
