Overview

609A is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). By binding to PD-1 and inhibiting its downstream signaling pathways, it acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. This mechanism restores T-cell activity and enhances the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. The drug is administered intravenously and has been investigated for various solid tumors, including HER2 positive breast cancer, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, soft tissue sarcoma, stomach cancer, neoplasms in general, non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, and other advanced or unresectable sarcomas[1][2][5][8].
