Drug intelligence / Profile preview
64Cu-CLDN18.2 (also known as 64Cu-PD-29875 or PD-29875D) is a claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2)-targeted diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed by PeptiDream and its wholly owned subsidiary, PDRadiopharma. It consists of a macrocyclic peptide ligand (PD-29875) discovered using PeptiDream's proprietary Peptide Discovery Platform System (PDPS®) technology, labeled with the positron-emitting radioisotope copper-64 (64Cu). 64Cu-CLDN18.2 is designed as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent to visualize CLDN18.2-expressing tumors, particularly in gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction cancer. It serves as a diagnostic companion in a theranostic pair alongside its actinium-225 (225Ac)-labeled therapeutic counterpart (PD-29875T). 64Cu-CLDN18.2 is currently undergoing Phase 0/first-in-human clinical imaging studies in patients with gastric cancer.
