64Cu-cudotadipep is an experimental **PSMA-targeted copper-64 radiopharmaceutical** being developed for positron emission tomography imaging of **prostate cancer**. It is a **DOTA-chelated radiolabeled peptide ligand** derived from the PSMA-3Q scaffold, designed to bind **prostate-specific membrane antigen** on prostate cancer cells and deliver the positron-emitting isotope copper-64 for tumor visualization by PET/CT. Published preclinical work from researchers at FutureChem and collaborating Korean academic centers compared 64Cu-cudotadipep with the related NOTA-based analogue 64Cu-cunotadipep and found that the DOTA version had lower PSMA binding affinity and less favorable pharmacokinetics, including relatively higher liver uptake, suggesting it is primarily a research-stage comparator rather than the lead candidate.
