**64Cu-DOTA-hIgG** is a positron-emitting radiopharmaceutical consisting of human immunoglobulin G (hIgG) conjugated with the chelator DOTA and radiolabeled with copper-64 (^64Cu), designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. The DOTA chelator enables stable attachment of ^64Cu to the antibody[2]. The human IgG component enables passive targeting to tissues or can be used as a non-specific control probe in studies assessing biodistribution or tumor imaging[2]. The primary mechanism is based on the biodistribution behavior of the radiolabeled IgG, which often serves as a control or non-target agent in comparison to specific targeting antibodies in preclinical and translational PET imaging studies. The principal indication is as a control tracer or imaging agent to assess antibody distribution and background uptake, rather than for specific disease targeting or therapy. There is no evidence of specific molecular target engagement, unless engineered for it.
