Drug intelligence / Profile preview
64Cu-labeled human serum albumin (64Cu-HSA) is a radiolabeled formulation of human serum albumin (HSA) conjugated with the positron-emitting radionuclide copper-64 (64Cu). It is primarily developed as a diagnostic positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer. In preclinical research, 64Cu-HSA is utilized to evaluate macromolecule clearance from the subarachnoid space via cranial lymphatics, as well as to study lymphatic dysfunction, tumor accumulation, and vascular permeability.
