Drug intelligence / Profile preview
64Cu-NODAGA-CG34 is a copper-64-labeled radiopharmaceutical PET imaging tracer developed by the University of Pittsburgh. It consists of CG34, a stabilized peptidomimetic fragment of the chemerin protein that acts as a high-affinity agonist of chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1, also known as ChemR23), conjugated to the chelator NODAGA via a 6-aminohexanoic acid linker. CMKLR1 is highly expressed on monocyte-derived macrophages and other innate immune cells involved in active inflammatory processes. By targeting CMKLR1, 64Cu-NODAGA-CG34 enables noninvasive positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of macrophage-driven inflammation. It has been investigated in preclinical models for monitoring acute lung injury (ALI), acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), pulmonary fibrosis, and post-infarction myocardial inflammation and remodeling.
