64Cu-NOTA-Gly-Ser-Gly-TF-pep is a radiolabeled peptide-based diagnostic imaging agent developed for the detection of Thomsen-Friedenreich (TF) carbohydrate antigen-expressing adenocarcinomas, particularly breast carcinomas. The agent consists of a TF-specific peptide (TF-pep, sequence DRD-IVWHRWYAWSPASRI-DRD-NH2) discovered via bacteriophage display, conjugated to the positron-emitting radioisotope copper-64 (64Cu) via a 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA) chelator and a Gly-Ser-Gly (GSG) spacer. It is designed for use in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to non-invasively visualize TF-expressing tumors in vivo.
