Drug intelligence / Profile preview
64Cu-PD-29875 is a novel, first-in-class radiopharmaceutical diagnostic imaging agent developed by PeptiDream and its subsidiary PDRadiopharma. It consists of a highly selective macrocyclic peptide targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) conjugated to the positron-emitting radioisotope copper-64 (64Cu). Discovered using PeptiDream's proprietary Peptide Discovery Platform System (PDPS) technology, the agent is designed as a companion diagnostic for the therapeutic radiopharmaceutical 225Ac-PD-29875. It is primarily intended for the PET imaging of gastric cancer and other CLDN18.2-expressing solid tumors, such as pancreatic and biliary cancers, to facilitate patient selection and treatment monitoring in a theranostic approach.
