64Cu-plerixafor

**64Cu-plerixafor** is an investigational CXCR4-targeted positron-emission tomography radiopharmaceutical. It is a copper-64 radiolabeled form of the small-molecule CXCR4 antagonist plerixafor, designed to bind CXCR4-expressing cells and enable noninvasive PET/CT visualization and quantitative assessment of CXCR4 expression in tumors. It has been evaluated in a first-in-human imaging study in patients with cancer, including correlation of lesion uptake with tumor CXCR4 expression and human radiation dosimetry.
