Drug intelligence / Profile preview
64Cu-S1PR2-amide-DOTA is a copper-64 labeled small molecule positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer targeting sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2). Developed by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Washington University School of Medicine, the agent consists of an S1PR2-targeting amide ligand conjugated to the chelator DOTA and radiolabeled with copper-64. S1PR2 is a G protein-coupled receptor implicated in cancer pathogenesis, demyelinating diseases, inflammation, and anaphylaxis. 64Cu-S1PR2-amide-DOTA is designed for noninvasive PET imaging to assess S1PR2 expression and distribution in tumors, such as melanoma and glioblastoma, to aid in disease characterization and therapeutic evaluation.
