Overview

67Cu-NU101 (67Cu-NuriPro™) is a Copper-67-labeled radiopharmaceutical developed by Nuclidium AG for the treatment of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positive prostate cancer. The drug consists of the beta-emitting radioisotope Copper-67 (67Cu) conjugated to the PSMA-targeting ligand NODAGA-PSMA I&T. By targeting PSMA, which is highly expressed in over 90% of prostate tumors, 67Cu-NU101 delivers localized ionizing radiation to tumor cells, inducing DNA damage and cell death while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. It is developed as the therapeutic component of a theranostic pair alongside the diagnostic imaging agent 61Cu-NU101 (61Cu-NuriPro™), which utilizes the same targeting ligand with the positron-emitting isotope Copper-61 for patient selection and treatment monitoring.
